3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 14896.7, GB/T 35351 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Andmiling

Composite additive manufacturing equipment is used to realize the process of integrally forming the workpiece through directed energy deposition and milling.

3.2 Energy source

A high-energy beam that delivers high energy to melt metal during directed energy deposition.

NOTE: Energy sources commonly used for directed energy deposition include laser beams, electron beams, plasma arcs, and electric arcs.

3.3 Milling headmilinghead

Installed on a multi-axis motion mechanism to clamp the tool and provide the tool with rotary motion to process the inner and outer contours of the deposited forming layer part.

3.4 Deposition head

A device for delivering energy and raw materials to the molten pool.
