3 Terms, Definitions and Abbreviations

3.1 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 39267-2020, JJF1180-2007 and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1.1 BeiDou navigation satellite system time

The time reference established and maintained by the Beidou satellite navigation system.

Note: Beidou satellite navigation system time is also called Beidou time.

3.1.2 Beijing time

The standard time used uniformly throughout the country is ahead of UTC8h in time. [Source: JJF1180-2007,1.8]

3.1.3 Start-of-year epoch

The Beijing time used for Beidou satellite navigation system RDSS business calculation is close to the beginning of the year.

3.1.4 Year count
