1 Scope

This document specifies the operation and maintenance categories and requirements, daily operation and maintenance, and post-earthquake operation and maintenance of electrical equipment in newly built, renovated, and expanded converter stations in plateau areas.

Maintenance, status assessment, and handling of assessment results.

This document applies to voltage levels of ±400kV and above, altitudes of 1000m to 5000m, and seismic fortification intensity of 6 to 9 degrees.

Operation and maintenance of electrical equipment within the converter station.

The seismic maintenance of electrical equipment in other substations/converter stations shall be carried out in accordance with the same guidelines.
