Scope
GB/T 42535-2023 is the English-translated version of 锅炉定期检验.
This document specifies the basic requirements for the periodic inspection of boilers in service, including waste heat boilers built to boiler design rules; the power piping connected to a boiler may be inspected together with it, following the requirements that apply to piping within the boiler's scope.
The document applies to pressure-bearing steam boilers with a water volume at normal design level of at least 30 L and a rated steam pressure of at least 0.1 MPa, to pressurised hot water boilers with a rated outlet pressure of at least 0.1 MPa and a rated thermal power of at least 0.1 MW, and to organic heat carrier boilers with a rated thermal power of at least 0.1 MW, each with the exceptions the document states; other boilers may follow it as a reference. All pressures given are gauge pressures.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.
1 Scope
This document specifies the basic requirements for periodic inspection of in-service boilers [including waste (waste) heat boilers manufactured according to boiler design], including general The power pipeline connected to the boiler can refer to the pipeline requirements within the scope of the boiler Periodic inspections are carried out together with the boiler.
This document is applicable to boilers in the following scope, and other boilers can be implemented as a reference.
a) Pressure-bearing steam boilers with design normal water level water volume greater than or equal to 30L and rated steam pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa (Except for boilers with design normal water level water volume less than or equal to 50L and rated steam pressure less than or equal to 0.8MPa);
b) Pressurized hot water boilers with rated outlet pressure greater than or equal to 0.1MPa and rated thermal power greater than or equal to 0.1MW (rated Except for boilers whose outlet water pressure is less than or equal to 0.4MPa and whose rated outlet water temperature is less than 95°C);
c) Organic heat carrier boilers with rated thermal power greater than or equal to 0.1MW.
Note: All pressures mentioned in this document are gauge pressures.
