GB/T 41944-2022 is the English-translated version of 丁基橡胶阻尼片.
GB/T 41944-2022 is the Chinese national product standard for butyl rubber damping sheet, the two-layer viscoelastic film made mainly of butyl rubber and faced with aluminium foil, non-woven fabric or plastic film, used for damping, noise reduction and sound insulation on mechanical equipment, road vehicles, surface ships and household appliances.
It fixes the classification and marking, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage. Two classes are defined, ordinary (code DJZN-PT) and flame retardant (code DJZN-ZR), and a product is designated as product code - document number - thickness, for example DJZN-ZR-GB/T 41944-2.5.
Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 18258 for damping performance, GB/T 2790 for 180° peel strength and GB/T 36803 for VOC emission by the bag method. Issued on 30 December 2022, it has applied since 1 July 2023.

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.
1 Scope
This document specifies the classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage.
This document is applicable to the viscoelastic film made of butyl rubber as the main material, the surface is compounded with aluminum foil, non-woven fabric or plastic film, etc.
The damping sheet composed of two layers is used for butyl rubber damping, noise reduction and sound insulation functions of mechanical equipment, road vehicles, surface ships, household appliances, etc.
For the qualification judgment of nylon sheets, other uses can be used as a reference.

4.1 Classification
Butyl rubber damping sheets are divided into the following two categories.
---Ordinary type. code DJZN-PT;
--- Flame retardant type. code DJZN-ZR.
4.2 Marking
Butyl rubber damping sheets are marked in the following order. product code - document number - thickness.
Example: butyl rubber damping sheet with a thickness of 2.5mm and flame retardant performance, marked as. DJZN-ZR-GB/T 41944-2.5
