Scope

GB/T 41780.1-2022 is the English-translated version of 物联网 边缘计算 第1部分:通用要求.

GB/T 41780.1-2022 is Part 1 of GB/T 41780 and gives the general requirements for edge computing in the Internet of things. It proposes the system architecture and the functional architecture of IoT edge computing and fixes the functional requirements of edge computing nodes, grouped as edge resource support, edge services and edge management.

It defines edge computing as a computing architecture that puts data processing and storage at the edge of the IoT, and an edge computing node as a device at that edge with data processing, network communication and storage capability, such as an IoT terminal, an edge gateway, an edge controller or an edge server.

It cites GB/T 38637.2-2020. It applies to the design, development and application of edge computing nodes in IoT systems. It was issued on 12 October 2022 and has applied since that same date.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document is part 1 of GB/T 41780 "Edge Computing for the Internet of Things". GB/T 41780 has released the following parts.

--- Part 1: General requirements.

Introduction

GB/T 41780 "Edge Computing of the Internet of Things" stipulates the general requirements, service interfaces, edge devices, etc. of the edge computing of the Internet of Things It aims to standardize the design of edge computing from the perspective of the Internet of Things, guide the development of edge computing, and promote the application of edge computing in the Internet of Things system. application.

GB/T 41780 is intended to be composed of four parts.

--- Part 1: General requirements. The purpose is to give the definition of IoT edge computing terms and types of edge computing nodes, and to propose IoT edge computing terms.

The system architecture and functional architecture of network edge computing specify the functional requirements of edge computing nodes in the IoT system.

--- Part 2: Data management requirements. The purpose is to unify the reference model and functional architecture of IoT edge computing data management. Define IoT edge computing data management requirements.

--- Part 3: Requirements for edge computing nodes. The purpose is to specify the characteristics and application scenario requirements of each edge computing node. Requirements for edge computing node devices.

--- Part 4: Interface requirements. The purpose is to unify the interfaces between IoT edge computing functional services.
