Scope

GB/T 41716-2022 is the English-translated version of 漆树中主要有效成分含量的测定 高效液相色谱法.

GB/T 41716-2022 describes a high performance liquid chromatography method for measuring the main active ingredients of the lacquer tree. It applies to the determination of the urushiols - saturated, monounsaturated, diunsaturated and triunsaturated - and of the flavonoid compounds, singly or together.

Within a single analysis run the mobile phase ratio is changed on a time programme so that the components separate at their own capacity factors; each compound is detected at the wavelength of its maximum ultraviolet absorption and quantified directly against standard substances by the external standard method.

The document defines the four urushiol classes by the number of carbon-carbon double bonds in the side chain aliphatic alkanes of the urushiol molecule. Clause 2 cites GB/T 6682 and GB/T 36055. It was issued on 14 October 2022 and has applied since 1 November 2023.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules for Standardization Documents" drafting.

1 Scope

This document describes a method for the determination of the main active ingredients in sumac by high performance liquid chromatography.

This document is applicable to urushiol (saturated urushiol, monounsaturated urushiol, diunsaturated urushiol, triunsaturated and urushiol) and flavonoids (flavonoids, fisetin, thiamethrin and buterin) compounds for the determination of single or multiple components.

2 Normative references

The contents of the following documents constitute the essential provisions of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated references For documents, only the version corresponding to the date is applicable to this document; for undated reference documents, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document.

GB/T 36055 Determination of Moisture Content in Analytical Methods of Forestry Biomass Raw Materials

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Saturated urushiol

The urushiol molecular compound that does not contain carbon-carbon double bonds in the side chain aliphatic alkanes of urushiol molecules.

3.2 Monounsaturated urushiol

The urushiol molecular compound with a carbon-carbon double bond in the side chain aliphatic alkanes of the urushiol molecule.

3.3 Diunsaturated urushiol

The urushiol molecular compound with two carbon-carbon double bonds in the side chain aliphatic alkanes of the urushiol molecule.

3.4 Triunsaturated urushiol

The urushiol molecular compound with three carbon-carbon double bonds in the side chain aliphatic alkanes of the urushiol molecule.

4 Principles

In the same analysis cycle, adjust the mobile phase ratio according to a certain time program, so that the main active components in sumac can be adjusted according to their respective appropriate capacities.

Factors achieve good separation purposes. Using saturated urushiol, monounsaturated urushiol, diunsaturated urushiol, triunsaturated urushiol, yellow pigment lignin, lacquer Flavin, thiochrysin and butacein have maximum ultraviolet absorption at specific wavelengths, and are detected under the conditions of corresponding wavelengths, and are tested with standard substances. Direct quantitative analysis by external standard method.
