1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements for the use of depilatory agents for livestock and poultry slaughtering, the condition of livestock and poultry products after depilation, and hygienic management.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

4 Basic requirements

4.1 The composition of the depilatory agent should meet the requirements of relevant standards.

4.2 Before using the depilator, check its cleanliness and remove impurities.

4.3 The depilatory agent should not produce hazardous substances during use.

4.4 Depilatories should be clearly marked and stored separately, and should not be in contact with toxic and harmful substances.

4.5 Corresponding safety precautions should be taken during the use of the depilator.
