Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

1 Scope

This document establishes the procedures for beef traceability, specifies the determination of the target, precision and scope of beef traceability, and the code assignment and coding rules for traceability codes.

The collection and input of traceability information, the association between traceability codes and information, the reading and decoding of traceability codes, etc., describe the corresponding verification methods.

This document applies to related technical operations in the process of beef cattle raising, trading, slaughtering, segmentation and packaging, transportation and product sales.

3 Terms and Definitions

Terms and definitions defined in GB/T 38155 apply to this document.

4 Procedures

The beef traceability procedure includes the following stages: the relevant organization practitioners determine the traceability target; according to the traceability target and implementation cost, determine the minimum Traceability unit and scope of traceability; practitioners in different links follow the coding rules of the unified traceability code, and generate them according to the links involved in their own business Live cattle individual traceability code, beef intermediate and final product traceability code; the traceability code is combined with the physical product and transferred or moved with the physical product. To complete the consumption; establish a beef traceability information system, and organize practitioners to collect and record the traceability information and input it into the information system; The traceability code is uniquely associated with the traceability information; relevant organizations read and decode the traceability code.

5 Determining traceability objectives, precision and scope

5.1 Relevant organizations and practitioners can determine the traceability target according to 4.2.3 in GB/T 22005-2009.

5.2 According to the determined traceability objectives, mainly considering the cost of establishing and running the traceability system, determine the appropriate traceability accuracy (minimum traceability unit) and traceability.

5.3 The traceability of beef can be traced to individual live cattle, farms, farmers, the same batch of beef or beef end products, etc.
