1 Scope
This document specifies the security function requirements and security assurance requirements for switch devices listed in the network critical device catalog.
This document applies to switch equipment listed in the Network Critical Equipment Catalog.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 25069 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 Switch
A device that utilizes an internal switching mechanism to provide connectivity between networked devices.
NOTE: Switching mechanisms in switches are usually implemented at layer 2 or layer 3 of the OSI reference model.
3.2 Fault isolation
A mechanism in which the failure of any one of the independent components inside the equipment does not affect the normal operation of other components.
