1 Scope

This document specifies the basic requirements and test methods for the strap holder for ski snowboard soft boots.

This document is applicable to adult and child ski snowboard soft boot strap holders, including soft boot strap holders with step-in function.

This document does not apply to cushioning anti-skid pads.

Note 1.Refer to ISO 14790 for the standard of ski veneer holder without tripping device.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1

Snowboardstrap bindingforsoftboots

It is used to connect the soft ski boots (except the hard-soled ski boots specified in GB/T 40924-2021) and the snowboard.

3.2

Type C (children) snowboardstrap binding type C

It is only suitable for the fixation device used by children weighing no more than 45kg.

3.3

Type A (adult) snowboardstrap binding typeA

It is suitable for the fixation device used by adults weighing more than 45kg.
