Scope
GB/T 40736-2021 is the English-translated version of 矿用移动式货运索道 安全规范.
GB/T 40736-2021 sets the safety requirements for mobile freight ropeways used in mines, cargo ropeways mounted on a wheeled or crawler chassis. It covers their classification, the main hazards, basic safety requirements, operation and maintenance, safety protection, transport, and signs, markings and instructions for use.
It does not apply to aerial ropeways for underground mines or to cargo aerial ropeways.

1 Scope
This document specifies the classification, main hazards, basic safety requirements, operation and maintenance, safety protection, transportation, Signs, signs and instructions for use.
This document applies to mobile freight ropeways for mines with wheeled and crawler chassis.
This document does not apply to aerial ropeways for underground mines and cargo aerial ropeways.
