3.1 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/Z 18219-2008, GB/T 18391.1-2009, GB/T 28040-2011, GB/T 37700-2019 and GB/T 37724-2019 as well as the followings apply to this document. For convenience, some terms are repeated below.

3.1.1 Industrial cloud service data

the collection of data generated in the process of planning, construction, operation, and evaluation of industrial cloud services and managed in the industrial cloud platform

3.1.2 Data management

the activities of defining, creating, storing, maintaining, and accessing data in one or more industrial cloud systems

3.1.3 Metadata

the data that defines and describes other data [GB/T 18391.1-2009, definition 3.2.16]

3.1.4 Data dictionary

the table that contains a series of data entries [GB/T 28040-2011, definition 3.1]

3.1.5 Heterogeneous data

the data with different data formats, storage methods, and access control policies

NOTE 1: Heterogeneous data may be distributed across multiple autonomous domains in a heterogeneous environment.

NOTE 2: Heterogeneous data may differ greatly in data models, operating languages, and data semantics.

3.2 Abbreviations

The following abbreviations apply to this document.

ETL: Extract Transform Load

OLAP: Online Analytical Processing

PB: Petabytes

5.1 Data content

c) Data classification shall be provided, such as data classification of industrial cloud service providers, industrial cloud service collaborators, and industrial cloud service customers, as well as data classification schemes in terms of data importance, security, priority;

d) It is advisable to provide personalized customization functions for data model, data classification, and data definition, such as data tables, fields, attributes;

e) Heterogeneous data descriptions shall be provided, such as data descriptions in heterogeneous environments such as computer architecture, basic operating systems, database systems, and programming languages;

f) Graphical definition tools shall be provided, such as import and export of data models.

5.2 Data quality

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data definition services, the data quality requirements include:

a) Definitions and rules of data quality and accuracy indicators shall be provided, such as definitions of error range, expectation, variance as well as rules of data collection frequency, collection path;

b) The complete definition of data attributes, such as data characteristics, characteristic attributes and characteristic relationships, shall be provided, such as original records and files, which are retained in the original form, and the entire activity of data generation can be reproduced according to the original data;

c) A consistent definition of the logical relationship of data in time and space shall be provided, for example, the sequence of events is recorded in strict accordance with the date and time of occurrence;

d) The definition of timeliness of data from generation to use shall be provided, such as timeliness of service response, data interaction, message push;

e) The definition of data compliance in standards, conventions or regulations shall be provided, for example, data shall comply with relevant term definitions, security standards, data quality standards and other specifications;

f) A definition of data reliability shall be provided, such as clear data source labelling;

g) Definitions of the precision of data attributes, such as error values, shall be provided.

5.3 Data permission

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data definition services, the requirements for data permissions include:

a) User, role and division of labor definitions for data management shall be provided;

b) The operation authority of data shall be provided, such as adding, deleting, modifying, checking;

c) Definitions between different roles and data manipulation permissions shall be provided.

6.1 Syntax

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data creation services, the syntax requirements include:

a) Creation syntax, rules, processes and instructions shall be provided;

b) The creation of heterogeneous data shall be supported;

c) The creation process shall be documented;

d) Data personalization creation function shall be provided;

e) Syntax examples for data creation shall be provided;

f) Graphical creation tools shall be provided, which can import data models and automate creation;

g) Metadata creation and management tools shall be provided.

6.2 Rules

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data creation services, the requirements in terms of rules include:

a) A clear and unambiguous description of the rules shall be provided;

b) Clear rules classification shall be provided, such as business rules, data rules;

7.2 Storage monitoring

c) A visualization tool for storage status monitoring shall be provided.

7.3 Storage security

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data storage services, the storage security requirements include:

a) Data loss prevention function shall be provided;

b) Data verification function shall be provided;

c) Data storage encryption function shall be provided;

d) Data backup and recovery functions shall be provided;

e) It is advisable to provide remote disaster recovery functions.

7.4 Storage management

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data storage services, the storage management requirements include:

a) Physical hardware requirements and specifications for data storage shall be provided;

b) Logical model requirements and constraint descriptions for data storage shall be provided;

c) The data storage association plan and description shall be provided;

d) Personalized customization of data storage shall be provided;

e) Graphical storage tools shall be provided to manage physical storage configuration and logical storage configuration;

f) Data shall be provided for storage, storage and archiving according to different characteristics.

8.1 Quality maintenance

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data maintenance services, the quality maintenance requirements include:

a) Accuracy maintenance shall be provided to support atomicity, consistency, isolation and durability of transactions;

b) Data quality management functions shall be provided, and indicators, rules and policies that meet data integrity requirements shall be configured.

8.2 Security maintenance

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data maintenance services, the requirements for security maintenance include:

a) Maintenance management specifications shall be provided, such as routine maintenance specifications and abnormal event maintenance specifications;

b) Functions such as creation, storage, backup, migration, and recovery shall be provided;

c) Data operation audit function shall be provided;

d) Data correlation maintenance and traceability functions shall be provided;

e) Data desensitization tools shall be provided.

8.3 Monitoring maintenance

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data maintenance services, the requirements for monitoring maintenance include:

a) Operation and maintenance monitoring functions shall be provided;

b) Visual tools shall be provided for operation and maintenance monitoring.

8.4 Integration maintenance

When industrial cloud service providers provide industrial cloud service data maintenance services, the requirements for integration maintenance include:

a) Interoperability maintenance shall be provided to support the management of homogeneous/heterogeneous databases;

b) Personalized customization functions for data maintenance shall be provided;

c) Business intelligence tool integration functions shall be provided, such as ETL, OLAP, data mining, and report analysis;

d) It shall support the management of data volume above PB level. […]
