Scope

GB/T 40425.1-2021 is the English-translated version of 电动客车顶部接触式充电系统 第1部分:通用要求.

GB/T 40425.1-2021 sets the general requirements for top contact charging systems for electric buses, in which a charging bow and a charging bow docking terminal form an automatic coupler between the vehicle and the supply (connection case D).

It covers classification, communication, protection against electric shock, the connection between bus and charging system, the vehicle and supply interfaces, supply equipment construction and performance, overload protection and short-circuit detection, emergency stop and fault handling, conditions of use, maintenance and marking.

Annexes cover the control pilot circuit, proximity detection with wireless communication, and the charging bow interface. It applies to off-board chargers and automatic charging couplers supplied at up to 1000 V AC or 1500 V DC, with a rated output of up to 1500 V DC. It was issued on 20 August 2021 and has applied since 1 March 2022.

Foreword

GB/T 40425 "Top Contact Charging System for Electric Bus" has released the following parts.

---Part 1: General requirements.

This part is Part 1 of GB/T 40425.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 40425 specifies the classification, general requirements, communication, electric shock protection, electric The connection between the electric bus and the top contact charging system, the special requirements of the vehicle interface and the power supply interface, and the structure of the electric bus power supply equipment Requirements, the performance requirements of the top contact charging system of electric buses, overload protection and short-circuit detection, emergency stop and abnormal handling, use conditions, maintenance, standard Knowledge and description.

This section applies to the top contact charging system of electric passenger cars. The system includes off-board chargers and automatic charging couplers. Its supply The maximum rated voltage of the electric power supply is 1000VAC or 1500VDC, and the maximum rated output voltage is 1500VDC.

This section also applies to top contact charging systems for electric buses that obtain energy from on-site energy storage systems (such as buffer battery packs, etc.).
