Scope
GB/T 40209-2021 is the English-translated version of 制造装备集成信息模型通用建模规则.
GB/T 40209-2021 lays down the general rules for building an integrated information model of manufacturing equipment, so that devices from different suppliers can be described in the same way.
It covers the model elements and their relationships, modelling rules, references and byte order; the definition of basic attribute, collection, reference, attribute set, method, component and device types; the data types, from basic types and byte strings to dates, times, timestamps and arrays; and the manufacturing equipment description file used to describe a model uniformly.
A normative annex indexes the data types and an informative annex shows how to apply the model with OPC UA, building on GB/T 33863.3. It is meant for equipment manufacturers, integrators and other users, was issued on 21 May 2021 and has applied since 1 December 2021.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the information model overview, information model definition, data type and manufacturing equipment information of the integrated information model of manufacturing equipment A unified description of the model.
This standard applies to manufacturers, integrators and other users' modeling of integrated information models for manufacturing equipment.

3 Terms, definitions and abbreviations
3.1 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1.1 Information model
The organizational framework for the definition, description and association of a given manufacturing equipment information resource.
Note: Rewrite IEC /T R62541-1.2020 and define 3.2.15.
3.1.2 Attribute element
The basic information that composes the attribute, such as attribute identification, attribute name, etc.
3.1.3 Attribute
The basic elements that make up components, attribute sets, and equipment.
Note: Rewrite IEC /T R62541-1.2020 and define 3.1.4.
3.1.4 Attribute set
A collection of one or more attributes and sub-attribute sets, which can exist separately as nodes and only constitute the structure of the description of the attributes of the manufactured equipment element.
Note: Structural elements only provide structural information, similar to the function of a folder.
3.1.5 Static attribute set
A type of attribute set that contains attributes that do not change or change infrequently after being determined.
Note: Which attributes are static attributes, some are clear, such as manufacturer information, and some are not clear, depending on the characteristics of the manufacturing equipment and the user.
