Scope

GB/T 45510-2025 is the English-translated version of 边缘智能仪表通用要求.

GB/T 45510-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering a field instrument that computes rather than only measures — the application architecture and the device architecture, the integrated interaction with the systems around it, the self-diagnosis, the reconfiguration of function without replacing the hardware, the remote operation and maintenance, the decisions taken at the instrument, the split of work between edge and cloud, and the information security that a networked instrument now has to carry. First edition, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 October 2025. Issued on 28 March 2025, it has been in force since 1 October 2025.
