Scope
GB/T 40096.2-2021 is the English-translated version of 就地化继电保护装置技术规范 第2部分:连接器及预制缆.
GB/T 40096.2-2021 is Part 2 of the Chinese national series on relay protection devices installed on site, next to the primary equipment. It deals with the circular connectors and prefabricated electrical and optical cables used by such devices when they take their samples from conventional transformers, at voltage levels of 110 kV and below.
It sets out environmental conditions, rated electrical parameters, component and performance requirements, and test methods ranging from contact resistance, withstand voltage and surge to insertion and return loss, vibration, salt fog, flame spread and smoke density.
Inspection rules and packaging, transport and storage complete the text, with annexes on thread structure and cable build. It serves the research, design, manufacture, testing and application of these parts. It was issued on 21 May 2021 and has applied since 1 December 2021.
