Scope
GB/T 40086-2021 is the English-translated version of 仿真冰场 通用技术要求和试验方法.
GB/T 40086-2021 deals with synthetic ice rinks, the venues paved with artificial ice boards on which ice hockey, free skating, figure skating and other ice sports can be practised.
It sets out the terms and definitions, the basic requirements and the product requirements for these rinks, the test methods used to check them, and the signs and instructions for use that must accompany them.
The test methods draw on plastics standards for density, water absorption, linear expansion, impact properties, deflection temperature, Shore hardness and rolling wear, and on the determination of restricted substances.
The standard applies to rinks used for training, teaching, amateur competition and entertainment, and not to rinks for professional training or professional competition. It was issued on 30 April 2021 and has applied since 1 June 2021.

Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
Introduction
As a green and environmentally friendly product, the simulation ice rink is convenient and fast to maintain, and is not restricted by geographical location and climatic conditions, which is beneficial to Promote use nationwide. With the approach of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and the strong support of local government departments for ice and snow sports, imitating The real ice rink is bound to be promoted vigorously, so quality assurance is also imperative. In view of the lack of current national standards for simulated ice rinks, specially formulated This standard provides a more rigorous technical and regulatory basis for the construction of simulated ice rinks.
1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, signs and instructions for the simulated ice rink (hereinafter referred to as "ice rink").
This document is applicable to the training, teaching, amateur competition and entertainment of ice sports such as ice hockey, free skating, figure skating, etc. Ice rink.
This document does not apply to professional training and professional competition ice rinks.
