Scope
GB/T 39305-2020 is the English-translated version of 再生水水质 氟、氯、亚硝酸根、硝酸根、硫酸根的测定 离子色谱法.
GB/T 39305-2020 is the Chinese standard "Reclaimed water quality - Determination of fluoride, chloride, nitrite, nitrate, sulfate - Ion chromatography". Its scope clause reads: This standard specifies the determination of fluoride ion (F-), chloride ion (Cl-), nitrite ion (NO2-) and nitric acid in reclaimed water by ion chromatography.
Root ion (NO3-), sulfate ion (SO42-) method. This standard applies to the content of fluoride ion (F-), chloride ion (Cl-), nitrate ion (NO3-) and sulfate ion (SO42-) in regenerated water Amount >= 0.10mg/L; determination of nitrite ion (NO2-) content >= 0.05mg/L. Its clauses include method summary; interference; reagents or materials.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination of fluoride ion (F-), chloride ion (Cl-), nitrite ion (NO2-) and nitric acid in reclaimed water by ion chromatography.
Root ion (NO3-), sulfate ion (SO42-) method.
This standard applies to the content of fluoride ion (F-), chloride ion (Cl-), nitrate ion (NO3-) and sulfate ion (SO42-) in regenerated water
Amount >= 0.10mg/L; determination of nitrite ion (NO2-) content >= 0.05mg/L.
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated reference documents, only the dated version applies to this article
Pieces. For undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Method summary
The anion to be measured in the sample enters the ion exchange column system (composed of a guard column and a separation column) with the eluent, and according to each anion in the chromatography
The difference in ion exchange capacity on the column achieves separation. The separated anions enter the conductivity detector with the eluent for determination.
The relative retention time is qualitative, and it is quantified by peak height or peak area.
4 Interference
4.1
In ion chromatography, when the concentration of a component in the sample is very high, the chromatogram will correspond to peak broadening, which masks the effects of other components.
Peaks, causing interference. This interference can usually be reduced by appropriately diluting the sample according to the concentration of other anions; or separating dry
The method of disturbing ions reduces interference.
4.2
Due to the complex composition of reclaimed water, some organic matter, especially organic matter containing benzene ring, permanently adsorbs the resin of the separation column, making the separation
The adsorption capacity of the column is reduced, and the column is damaged, which interferes with the measurement. Usually a pretreatment column is used for treatment.
4.3
Since the conductivity of water is lower than that of the eluent, the water in the sample will produce a negative peak in the chromatogram during the elution, see
Appendix A eliminates water negative peaks.
5 Reagents or materials
5.1
Unless otherwise specified, the reagents and water used in this standard shall be degassed using superior grade pure reagents and complying with the requirements of GB/T 33087 deal with.
Note. The purity of water and reagents affects the detection limit of the method. It is recommended to prepare a standard solution with freshly prepared water.
5.2 Eluent
Prepare according to the instrument model and chromatographic column instructions.
5.3 Regeneration fluid
prepare according to the suppressor model and instruction manual.
