Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 20383.2017 "Agricultural and Forestry Tractors and Machinery Speed Identification Mark (SIS)".

Compared with ISO 20383.2017, there are technical differences between this standard and the clauses involved in these differences have been passed on the outer margins.

The technical differences between this standard and ISO 20383.2017 and the reasons are as follows.

--- Regarding normative reference documents, this standard has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to my country's technical conditions and adjustments.

The situation is collectively reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative Reference Documents", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

* Replace ISO 29862.2007 with GB/T 2792-2014, which is modified to adopt international standards.

--- Deleted the term and definition "agricultural machinery", the term is not used in the standard text.

---The speed unit "mile/h" and the minimum size of its characters have been deleted. "mile/h" is not a standard international unit and is not used in my country.

--- Change the regulations of unit font from "Note." to article, which is normative content.

--- Delete the "Note." in 5.2, my country does not use the bonding strength test ASTM D3330/D3330M.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the size, characteristics and location of the Speed Identification Mark (SIS) that indicates the maximum speed of agricultural vehicles.

Note. The operator approaching the equipment from behind on the highway can see the speed identification mark behind the equipment, and the speed identification mark installed in front of the towed equipment is used for

To remind the driver of the towing vehicle of the maximum speed that the traction equipment unit can travel.

This standard applies to self-propelled, semi-integrated and towed equipment running on highways.

3 Terms and definitions

Actual travel speed limit

The driving speed specified by the machine with the lowest speed among the towed farm tools (equipment units).

3.2

highway

The width between the two boundary lines of the road conforms to the roads of public rules for vehicles.
