Scope
GB/T 39237-2020 is the English-translated version of LED夜景照明应用技术要求.
GB/T 39237-2020 sets the general requirements, the specification classification, the lamp performance, the driving power supply and the control system of LED lamps for night scene lighting.
Clause 1 states that it applies to LED lamps, driving power supplies, control systems and their applications for night scene lighting; no exclusion is written.
Clause 5 classifies the lamps and fixes their specifications together with those of the drive power and the control system, while clause 6 sets the lamp performance in seven groups, the safety, electrical, photometric, chromaticity, dimming, energy efficiency and durability requirements.
Clause 7 does the same for the drive power, with basic, safety, electrical and durability requirements, and clause 8 for the control system, with basic, functional and performance requirements.
Six appendices follow, five of them normative, on the light distribution classification of floodlight lamps, the division of the pool area, the calculation of the brightness uniformity of LED surface light source lamps, the sight distance calculation formula and the nominal color temperature and chromaticity coordinates, the informative one on the division of the brightness area of the lighting environment.
Clause 3 takes its terms from JGJ/T 119 and prints night lighting, defined as the night lighting of outdoor public spaces, buildings or structures and other scenery other than the functional lighting of sports venues, outdoor work sites and urban and rural roads, LED pole lighting, a lamp using LED as its light source usually installed on a light pole of 6 m to 15 m, and LED courtyard lights, usually installed on a light pole of 2.5 m to 6 m; the draft breaks off just after that.
Clause 2 cites GB 7000.1, GB 7000.7, GB 7000.203, GB 7000.213, GB 7000.218, GB/T 7921, GB 17625.1, GB/T 17626.5-2019, GB/T 17743, GB 19510.1, GB 19510.14, GB/T 35626, JGJ/T 119 and JGJ/T 163.
The foreword states that the standard is proposed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and is under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Technical Committee for Building Energy Efficiency (SAC/TC452). It was issued on 2020-11-19 and has applied since 2021-06-01.
