Scope
GB/T 39060-2020 is the English-translated version of 自动化立体仓库设备制造安装监理技术要求.
GB/T 39060-2020 sets the technical requirements for the supervision service that accompanies the manufacture and installation of automated warehouse equipment.
Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the terms and definitions, the basic requirements for the equipment supervision service bearing on the manufacturing and installation quality of automated warehouse equipment, the supervision of the manufacturing stage, the supervision of the installation stage and the requirements for supervision records; it applies to the steel structure racking, aisle stacker cranes, conveying and sorting equipment and automatic guided vehicle (AGV) equipment used in automated three-dimensional warehouses, and it does not apply to equipment used in low-temperature automated warehouses or in explosion-proof automated warehouses.
The table of contents matches that division, with clause 4 Basic requirements for equipment supervision services, clause 5 Supervision at the manufacturing stage, clause 6 Supervision during the installation phase and clause 7 Supervision data, followed by two normative appendices, A and B, which give the supervision content and the witness method for the manufacturing stage and for the installation stage respectively.
Clause 3 takes its terms from GB/T 26429, JB/T 9018 and JB/T 10823 and repeats several for convenience: the automated storage and retrieval system, defined as a warehouse whose storage and retrieval units are made up of steel structure racking, stackers and handling equipment and which can be automated; plant engineering, defined as a project whose main construction content is equipment and which runs through planning, design, procurement, manufacture, installation and commissioning, and which also covers the overhaul and technical upgrading of equipment systems; and witnessing, defined as the equipment supervision engineer personally observing, inspecting, recording and confirming documents, records, processes and other physical objects and activities.
That definition identifies the user of the standard as the equipment supervision engineer, and the appendices give the supervision content and the witness method for each stage.
The standard is proposed and administered by the National Standardization Technical Committee for Equipment Supervision Engineering Consulting (SAC/TC423), and its drafting bodies include the Beijing Crane and Transportation Machinery Design and Research Institute, logistics system integrators and storage equipment makers, together with the China Equipment Supervision Association.
It cites GB/T 26429 on equipment engineering supervision, JB/T 9018 on the design of automated warehouses and JB/T 10823 on automated warehouse terminology. It was issued on 29 September 2020 and has applied since 1 April 2021.
