GB/T 3884.4-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering five elements in copper concentrate and in copper slag concentrate, which this edition brings into scope — the decomposition with hydrochloric, nitric, hydrofluoric and perchloric acids, the measurement in dilute hydrochloric acid in an air-acetylene flame at each element's wavelength, the background correction, the working curves that may now be single-element or mixed, and the precision limits that decide whether two laboratories agree on a cargo. Part 4 of the series. It replaces GB/T 3884.4-2012, taking in the lead, zinc, cadmium and nickel content of GB/T 3884.6-2012. Under the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association. In force from 1 March 2026. Issued on 29 August 2025, it has been in force since 1 March 2026, replacing GB/T 3884.4-2012.

4 Principles
The sample was decomposed with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and perchloric acid. The samples were then analyzed in a dilute hydrochloric acid medium at the recommended wavelengths for each element using an atomic absorption spectrometer.
Using an air-acetylene flame, after subtracting background absorption, the absorbance of lead, zinc, cadmium, nickel, and magnesium was measured respectively, and the absorbance of each element was calculated using the working curve method. content.
5 Reagents
Unless otherwise specified, only reagents confirmed to be of analytical grade shall be used in the analysis.
5.1 Water, GB/T 6682, Grade II or above.
5.2 Hydrochloric acid (rho=1.19g/mL).
