The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1.1 Content access
The process of injecting and storing media content from the content operation and management system in the IPTV media delivery system.
3.1.2 Electronic program guide
The digital TV program list combined according to different classification rules is provided to users through electronic means.
Note. The user can view it through the remote control, or switch directly from the electronic program list to the program being played.
3.1.3 Time shifting
The function that allows content playback after the initial transmission of media.
3.1.4 Content
Any form of digital data.
Note. An important form of content with additional restrictions on distribution and delivery is continuous media.
