1 Scope

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Breakawaycoupling

When a certain external force is applied, the safety device can be safely disconnected, and the two ends are automatically closed.

3.2 Full close time

When the pull-off valve is subjected to external force, the time from the safe disconnection to automatic closing at both ends.

Note. The unit of full shutdown time is seconds (s).

3.3 Breaking force

The force to which the two ends of the pull-off valve are safely disconnected.

Note. The unit of breaking force is kilonewtons (kN).
