Foreword

GB/T 38399 `` Glossary of Flat Warp Knitting Machines for Textile Machinery and Accessories '' is divided into the following four parts.

--- Part 1. Basic structure and loop forming mechanism;

--- Part 2. let-off, fabric pulling and winding;

--- Part 3. Jacquard device;

--- Part 4. sewing machine and sewing device.

This part is Part 4 of GB/T 38399.

This section is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part uses the redrafting method to modify and adopt ISO 8640-4..1996 "Textile Machinery and Accessories Flat Warp Knitting Machines. Part 4. Sewing

Vocabulary for knitting machines and sewing devices.

Compared with ISO 8640-4..1996, this section has structural changes. In order to standardize the standard structure, the "Scope" and "Term" chapters have been added.

The technical differences of this part compared to ISO 8640-4..1996 and their causes are as follows.

--- Added "This section is applicable to the production of Tricot warp knitting machines, Raschel warp knitting machines,

Knitting machines, crochet belt machines and flat warp knitting machines for the production of warp knitted fabrics ", in order to limit the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1).

The following editorial changes have been made in this section.

Separately moving needle cores can open and close the hook, and a composite needle with a hook-shaped needle that can pierce the base cloth (see Figure 1).
