Foreword

GB/T 38364 `` Safety requirements for lawn machinery for garden machinery powered by internal combustion engine '' is divided into the following parts.

--- Part 1. Terminology and general tests;

--- Part 2. Stepping lawn mower;

--- Part 3. Mounted lawn mower.

This part is the second part of GB/T 38364.

This section is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This section uses the translation method equivalent to ISO 5395-2..2013

1 Scope

1.1 This part of GB/T 38364 specifies the safety requirements for rotary knife stepper lawn mowers and hob stepper lawn mowers powered by internal combustion engines.

Seeking test methods, including stepped lawn machines (hereinafter referred to as "turf machines") with a seated operator rider attachment, and equipped with.

--- metal cutting devices, and/or

--- Non-metal cutting device is hingedly mounted on an approximately circular drive device by one or more cutting components.

Cutting is achieved by centrifugal force, and the cutting energy (kinetic energy) of each cutting part is not less than 10J.

This section does not apply to.

--- Robot and remote-control lawn mower, flutter (flail) lawn mower, lawn mower, blade reciprocating lawn mower, trailing/half

Mounted lawn mowers and de-irrigators;

--- Electric lawn mowers and lawn mowers powered by batteries;

--- Stepping lawn machine with flip handle.

Note. GB 4706.1-2005 and GB/T 4706.78-2005 give requirements for electric lawn mowers with walk control.

1.2 This section covers major hazards, hazards, and hazards associated with normal use of lawn mowers and foreseeable misuse by manufacturers.
