Introduction

The light reflectance value of ceramic tiles is an indicator of the material's ability to reflect light, and it is useful for light management in architectural design and interior decoration.

This is of great significance. The light reflectance value of ceramic tiles has become one of the important indicators for evaluating the performance of ceramic tiles, and its standardization has attracted attention both domestically and internationally.

This has garnered widespread attention. The ISO 10545 series of standards, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), are standards for test methods of ceramic tiles. my country has already addressed this issue.

Domestic adaptation of these standards has been carried out, and a corresponding national standard system has been established.

This document is Part 18 of GB/T 3810 "Test Methods for Ceramic Tiles", and aims to determine the light reflectance value of ceramic tiles. GB/T 3810 the Test Methods for Ceramic Tiles consists of 18 parts.

---Part 1: Sampling and Acceptance Conditions. The aim is to establish a sampling inspection system for ceramic tiles.

---Part 2: Inspection of Dimensions and Surface Quality. The aim is to establish methods for inspecting the dimensions and surface quality of ceramic tiles to evaluate product quality.

Product appearance quality.

---Part 3: Determination of water absorption, apparent porosity, apparent relative density, and bulk density. The aim is to establish indicators such as water absorption rate for ceramic tiles.

The standard testing method facilitates the classification of ceramic tiles.

---Part 4: Determination of Modulus of Fracture and Breaking Strength. The aim is to establish methods for testing the mechanical properties of ceramic tiles to evaluate their performance.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

solid colored surface A surface with uniform color and the same chromaticity value.

multi-colored surface when observed at a distance of 3m, different areas of the surface exhibit distinctly different colors or surfaces composed of small color spots; at a distance of 1m...

When observed, the surface appears to be one color.

non-uniform shade surface A surface with a certain degree of color variation.

Speckled surface

Surfaces with small marks, spots, or wobbles.

textured surface

This results in surface textures with extreme angle dependence of reflected light and a maximum peak-to-valley distance of less than 2 mm.
