Scope

GB/T 37195-2018 is the English-translated version of 以树脂为基料管道耐蚀修复作业技术规范.

GB/T 37195-2018 sets out how to repair corrosion damage on the outer wall of steel pipelines with resin-based materials.

It covers the repair design, from the site survey of defects to the total thickness of the composite repair, the materials, the construction work, backfilling with landform restoration, acceptance of the repair layer and completion records, and data management.

The tests on the finished repair layer include gelling, appearance, thickness, hollow areas, hardness, leak points and performance tests. It applies to wall thickness defects of less than 80% at temperatures from 0 °C to 120 °C and relative humidity up to 85%, and defines terms such as depression, reinforcing adhesive and filling resin putty.

Annexes give defect tables and a construction process card. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 November 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for corrosion-resistant repair design, materials, construction, inspection, acceptance, backfilling and data management of resin-based pipelines.

This standard is applicable to the repair of the thickness defect of steel pipe outer wall < 80% with temperature 0 °C~120 °C and relative humidity <=85%.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Depression pit

The tube wall is crushed or collided to produce a partial collapse of the radial displacement.

3.2 Reinforcing adhesive

Resin-based materials are added in a certain proportion to some auxiliary materials, specially formulated adhesives.

3.3 Filling resin mud

An A/B two-component adhesive that is evenly mixed to fill in pipe defects.
