Scope

GB/T 37142-2018 is the English-translated version of 住宅用综合信息箱技术要求.

GB/T 37142-2018 sets the technical requirements for residential integrated information boxes, the household boxes that bring together broadband access, routing and switching and smart home control modules.

It covers the classification of the boxes, general requirements, the technical requirements of the functional modules and of the cabinet, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, transport and storage.

Informative annexes give examples of front-wiring and rear-wiring box layouts, box functions and sizes, FTTH broadband access, and the connection of the smart home central control module and of the routing switch module.

It applies to integrated information boxes in residential households and can be used as a reference for information distribution boxes in the user units of civil buildings. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification, general requirements, functional module technical requirements, cabinet technology, test methods and inspections of residential comprehensive information boxes. Rules, packaging, transportation and storage, etc.

This standard applies to comprehensive information boxes in residential households. The information distribution box in the civil building user unit can be used for reference.
