Scope
GB/T 37108-2018 is the English-translated version of 农产品基本信息描述 禽蛋类.
GB/T 37108-2018 sets out how the basic information on poultry eggs is described, so that it can be collected, distributed, exchanged, stored and managed in a consistent way.
It defines the terms egg and data item, and lists the content to be described, from the product name, ingredients, net content and specification to the producer, distributor, agent and importer, the origin, the date of manufacture, shelf life, the food production licence number, the quality grade, the batch number and the safety indicators.
It then gives the description attributes to be used for each data item, starting with the Chinese name. It draws on GB/T 7408 for dates and times, GB 7718 for prepackaged food labels and GB/T 17295 for units of measure. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the basic information description requirements for poultry and egg products.
This standard applies to the collection, distribution, exchange, storage and management of information on poultry and egg products.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Egg
Belts produced by various poultry, unprocessed or treated only by cold storage, liquid immersion, coating, disinfection, gas-conditioning, dry storage, etc. Shell egg.

The inseparable minimum unit of data.
