Scope
GB/T 37076-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息安全技术 指纹识别系统技术要求.
GB/T 37076-2018 sets technical requirements for fingerprint recognition systems that provide identity authentication for information systems. It describes how such a system is structured - its composition, functional modules, workflow and basic applications - and divides systems into a basic and an enhanced level.
For each level it specifies functional requirements, performance requirements, safety requirements and security requirements, with a normative annex summarising the requirements of both levels and an informative annex on system security.
Terms defined include fingerprint recognition, fingerprint recognition system, fingerprint feature data and fingerprint feature. It applies to the design and implementation of fingerprint recognition systems and can also be used as a reference for testing and managing them. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.
