Scope
GB/T 37037-2018 is the English-translated version of 可穿戴产品数据规范.
GB/T 37037-2018 defines the data elements that wearable products use when they deliver application services.
It first sets out how a wearable product data element is represented, through a fixed set of eleven metadata items starting with the Chinese name, and then lists the general data elements shared by all devices and the data elements specific to each application domain.
The terms it relies on - data, data element, metadata, object class, representation and value domain - are defined in clause 3, and the product categories come from GB/T 37035-2018 on the classification and identification of wearable products.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the data elements used by wearable products in application services.
This standard applies to data collection of wearable products, as well as data exchange and sharing.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Data
A formal representation of a fact, concept, or instruction that applies to communication, interpretation, or processing, either manually or automatically.
3.2 Data element
A set of attributes that describe the data units that define, identify, represent, and allow values.
3.3 Metadata
Define and describe data for other data.
3.4 Object class
Object set. A collection of ideas, abstract concepts or things in the real world, with clear boundaries and meanings, and characteristics and behaviors It can be identified by the same rules.
3.5 Representation
A combination of a range of values and a data type, including a unit of measure or a character set, if necessary.
3.6 Value field
A collection of allowed values.
