Scope
GB/T 37013-2018 is the English-translated version of 柔性直流输电线路检修规范.
GB/T 37013-2018 sets out the inspection and maintenance requirements for flexible DC (VSC-HVDC) transmission lines rated ±500 kV and below. It applies to land cables, submarine cables and overhead lines in flexible DC projects.
After the general provisions, it gives the maintenance technical requirements first for cable lines and then for overhead lines, and closes with the inspection technical documents to be kept.
Informative annexes cover the operation of a dedicated discharge device for DC cable lines and common cable fault test methods, and a normative annex sets the inspection, maintenance and test requirements for line surge arresters.
It draws on power industry documents on safety work, preventive testing, infrared diagnosis, live working and submarine cable operation. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the project and technical requirements for inspection and overhaul of flexible DC transmission lines of ±500kV and below.
This standard is applicable to land cables, submarine cables and overhead transmission line for flexible DC transmission projects with voltage levels ±500kV and below.

3 Terms and definitions
