Scope
GB/T 37001-2018 is the English-translated version of 高清晰度电视节目素材交换格式.
GB/T 37001-2018 defines the file format in which high definition television programme material is exchanged. It is based on the Material Exchange Format (MXF) and specifies two file structures: the OP1a MXF file format and the OP-Atom MXF file format.
The format rests on the SMPTE MXF documents for the file format, operational patterns, generic container and the mapping of MPEG, AVC, AES3 and broadcast wave audio and SDTI-CP content, together with ISO/IEC 13818-1 and GB/T 17975.2.
Informative annexes describe the SMPTE MXF standard architecture, how the format relates to the SMPTE documents, and recommended video and audio coding and packaging for different applications.
It applies to finished programme files exchanged between HDTV production, media asset and broadcast systems, and between equipment from different vendors. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the file format for high definition television program exchange.
This standard applies to finished program files for inter-system exchange in high definition television production systems, media asset systems and broadcast systems.
Program material files, as well as files for exchanges generated by devices from different vendors, are also applicable to production facilities, production and broadcast organizations. Files exchanged between.
