GB/T 36632-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息安全技术公民网络电子身份标识格式规范.

GB/T 36632-2018 specifies the format of the citizen cyber electronic identity (eID), the electronic identifier that corresponds one-to-one with a citizen's real identity in online space.

It sets out how the identity is composed and how its asymmetric key pair is generated, and with which algorithm. The format clauses describe each field: version number, serial number, signature algorithm, authority, validity period, holder information, holder public key information, extensions and signature value.

The coding rules give the encoding format and the method for calculating the HID, the hash value code. It applies to the design, development, testing, production and application of systems related to the citizen cyber electronic identity. It was issued on 10 October 2018 and has applied since 1 May 2019.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the composition of the citizen's network electronic identity and the key pair generation requirements, format requirements and coding rules.

This standard applies to the design, development, testing, production and application of citizen network electronic identity identification related systems.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 25069 apply to this document.

3.1 Citizen network electronic identity

It has a one-to-one correspondence with the true identity of citizens, and is used to identify the electronic identity of citizens' real identity in online space.

3.2 Citizen network electronic identification code

Use the ID number of the citizen's true identity, the citizen's name, the ID type code, and the string of 128 bytes of random number.

The character code obtained after the rule is processed is composed of a version number, a hash value and a reserved bit.
