Scope
GB/T 36604-2018 is the English-translated version of 物联网标识体系 Ecode平台接入规范.
GB/T 36604-2018 specifies how applications and third-party platforms connect to the Ecode platform, the national management and public service platform for the Ecode identification system of the Internet of Things.
It describes the two access methods, through Web pages after logging in or through an HTTP protocol interface, and the process for each. It then defines the interfaces and describes them, with a normative annex giving the interfaces and data structures, and explains the abbreviations HTTP, JSON and URL.
It builds on GB/T 31866 for the Ecode item code and GB/T 35422 for registration and management. It applies to applications based on the Ecode platform that need interoperability across systems and platforms, and is used by software developers and platform operators. It was issued on 17 September 2018 and has applied since 1 April 2019.

This standard specifies the access method and interface definition of the Ecode platform.
This standard applies to applications based on the Ecode platform for cross-system and cross-platform interoperability.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 31866 apply to this document.
3.1 Third party platform
Through the intermediate software, the Ecode encoding service is provided for the application enterprise, and its function is independent of the platform of the Ecode platform.
4 Abbreviations
The following abbreviations apply to this document.
HTTP: HyperText Transfer Protocol (HyperTextTransferProtocol)
JSON: JS object tag (JavaScriptObjectNotation)
URL: Uniform Resource Locator (UniformResourceLocator)
5 Ecode platform access method
The Ecode platform (Ecode National IoT Identity Management and Public Service Platform) provides two ways to access externally. Web mode and Interface mode.
Web access. After logging in to the Ecode platform, users access the platform through the Web page function.
Interface access. Users or third-party platforms use the HTTP protocol interface to implement access.
