GB/T 36481-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息技术场景记录仪通用规范.

GB/T 36481-2018 is the general specification for scene recorders, devices that capture images through an image sensor and output or store them as digital image information.

It sets the product requirements and the matching test methods, the quality assessment procedures and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage.

The requirements draw on national standards for environmental testing, enclosure protection, information technology equipment safety, laser safety, radio disturbance and immunity, reliability testing and restricted substances.

One normative annex sets out optical image performance requirements and their test methods, and another gives the failure criterion. It applies to all kinds of scene recorders. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, quality assessment procedures, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the scene recorder.

This standard applies to various scene recorders (hereinafter referred to as "products").

3 Terms and definitions

3.1 Scene recorder

Through the image sensor, a device that can output or store digital image information is captured and generated.

The optical image information can be converted into a component of the digital electrical signal output.
