Scope
GB/T 36475-2018 is the English-translated version of 软件产品分类.
GB/T 36475-2018 sets out the classification of software products, giving the name of each category together with an explanatory note. It is intended for software product statistics and for the management of software products.
The standard defines a software product as computer software, an information system or equipment with embedded software supplied to users, or software provided in the course of system integration, application or technical services.
It also lists the abbreviations used in the categories, such as BAM, BPM, CAD, CAM, CRM, ERP, PLC, PLM, PDM and SCM, and gives the categories themselves in a table in clause 4.
It refers to GB/T 11457-2006 and GB/T 25066-2010. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.
