Scope
GB/T 36447-2018 is the English-translated version of 多媒体教学环境设计要求.
GB/T 36447-2018 sets the design requirements for multimedia teaching environments such as classrooms and lecture halls in schools and universities. It classifies these environments and then, type by type, covers demonstration, recording and broadcasting, interactive and language learning environments, together with the management and control centre.
For them it gives requirements for power supply and distribution, lighting, information networks, sound reinforcement acoustics, large screen display, central control systems, recording and broadcasting systems and interactive smart tablets and whiteboards, with power distribution and grounding for the control centre.
It draws on standards such as GB/T 2887-2011, GB 50052-2009, ISO/IEC 14496 and ITU-T H.323. It applies to the design and implementation of multimedia teaching environments. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

1 Scope
This standard defines the classification of multimedia teaching environment, and provides the power supply and distribution systems and lighting systems for these five types of multimedia teaching environments basic requirements for systems, information networks, and other basic requirements for audio systems, video systems, intelligent control systems, and system integration.
This standard applies to the design and implementation of a multimedia teaching environment.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Acoustic gain; transmission gain
When the sound reinforcement system is in the highest available gain state, the average value of the steady state sound pressure level at each measurement point in the audience area and the steady state at the microphone of the sound reinforcement system: the difference in sound pressure level.
Note: The unit is decibel (dB).
3.2 Multimedia teaching environment
The combination of school teaching, scientific research, internal and external communication and cooperation activities related to the application of the venue and the scope of multimedia teaching equipment.
Note 1. The core of multimedia teaching environment is the extensive application of modern educational technology. It is based on information networks, from the environment (such as equipment), resources (such as books, lectures, courseware, etc.) to activities (such as teaching and service) are all informatized to provide strong information resources for teachers, students, and students, in order to promote exchanges in teaching, conferences, and academics strong support.
Note 2. The multimedia teaching environment includes a multimedia teaching environment (a multi-functional multimedia teaching environment) and a multimedia audio-visual application environment (halls, academic newspapers halls, multi-purpose halls, etc.).
