Scope

GB/T 36410.5-2018 is the English-translated version of 港口设备能源消耗评价方法 第5部分:港口牵引车.

GB/T 36410.5-2018 sets out how to test and rate the energy consumption of port tractors, the semi-trailer tractors that move containers inside a port.

It is Part 5 of the GB/T 36410 series on the energy consumption of port equipment, whose other parts cover shore container cranes, rail-mounted container gantry cranes, grab ship unloaders and continuous ship loaders.

It fixes the test conditions, with a dry road, limited wind, an ambient temperature between 5 °C and 26 °C, and a looped test road, the requirements for the tractor under test, the test method and the evaluation method, using fuel consumption per kilometre and unit fuel consumption.

Its annexes give the energy efficiency test report and the energy efficiency levels. It applies to fuel-powered container tractors, was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

Foreword

GB/T 36410 "Evaluation Method for Energy Consumption of Port Equipment" is divided into 5 parts.

--- Part 1. Shore container cranes;

--- Part 2. Rail-mounted container gantry cranes;

--- Part 3. Bridge Grab Ship Unloader;

--- Part 4. Continuous cargo shippers;

--- Part 5. Harbor tractors.

This part is Part 5 of GB/T 36410.

This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 36410 specifies the energy consumption detection requirements, detection methods, and evaluation methods of the port tractors.

This section applies to the evaluation of energy consumption of semi-trailer towing vehicles for transport containers using fuel oil as energy, other types of fuel oil For energy tractors can also refer to use.

2 Normative references

The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only dated versions apply to this document. For undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) applies to this document.

JT/T 880 port tractor

JT/T 1056 Port Tractor Safety Regulations

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 36410.1 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 Fuel consumption per kilometer

The average fuel consumption per kilometer when the tractor is driving.

3.2 Unit fuel consumption

The ratio of fuel consumption per kilometer to hauling mass under test conditions.

4 Testing requirements

4.1 Basic requirements

4.1.1 If there is no rain or snow test, the road should be dry and the road surface can have wet marks, but there should be no accumulation of water.

4.1.2 The average wind speed should not exceed 5 levels.

4.1.3 The ambient temperature should be between 5 °C ~ 26 °C. The maximum relative humidity should not exceed 95%.

4.1.4 The longitudinal slope between any two points on the test road should not exceed 2%.

4.1.5 The measured road section of the test is a circular road section, which is divided into the forward lane and the reverse lane. The straight length of the one-way lane should not be less than 500m. The distance between the lane and the reverse lane is 40m.

4.2 Tested tractor requirements

4.2.1 The normal operation of the port tractor (referred to as a tow truck) shall comply with the relevant requirements of JT/T 880 and JT/T 1056 and must not be used to increase energy.
