Scope
GB/T 36391-2018 is the English-translated version of 抗菌牙刷.
GB/T 36391-2018 is the Chinese national standard for antibacterial toothbrushes, whose bristles, or bristles and brush head, are made of antibacterial materials that suppress the growth of bacteria on their surface.
It defines the product and sets its requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage. Hygiene, size, tuft strength, physical properties, bristle end rounding and appearance must meet GB 19342-2013 for toothbrushes, GB 30002-2013 for children's toothbrushes or GB 30003-2013 for sharpened toothbrushes.
Its normative references include the antibacterial test methods of GB/T 21510-2008 and GB/T 31402-2015 and, for electric toothbrushes, the GB 4706 appliance safety standards.
Manufacturers and inspection bodies use it to check antibacterial toothbrushes. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation, and storage of antibacterial toothbrushes.
This standard applies to bristles or bristles and brush heads made from antibacterial materials.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Antibacterial toothbrush
The bristles or bristles and brush heads are made of antibacterial materials and can suppress the growth of bacteria on the surface of bristles or brush heads.
4 Requirements
4.1 General
4.1.1 Antibacterial toothbrush toothbrush, children toothbrush, sharpened toothbrush toothbrush hygiene requirements, size specifications, hair bundle strength classification, physical properties, brushing, The non-sharpened part of the bristles and appearance quality shall comply with the relevant requirements in GB 19342-2013, GB 30002-2013 and GB 30003-2013, respectively.
