Scope
GB/T 36346-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息技术 面向设施农业应用的传感器网络技术要求.
GB/T 36346-2018 sets technical requirements for sensor networks used in facility agriculture. It gives a reference architecture for these networks and general requirements on network protocol, reliability, robustness, security, extensibility and manageability.
Functional requirements cover sensor nodes, sensors, controllers, actuators, routers and gateways, and a coding scheme extends the sensor parameter information with codes for sensor category, power, power supply, operating temperature and humidity, accuracy level, response time and waterproof and dustproof performance.
Performance and other requirements follow, with an informative annex on common networking methods and a normative annex on sensor node data labels. It applies to the design, development and use of planting production and monitoring systems in facility agriculture. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

1 Scope
This standard gives a sensor network architecture for the application of agricultural facilities, and specifies the overall requirements and functional requirements of the main components. Performance requirements, sensor parameter expansion information coding requirements, and other related requirements.
This standard applies to the design, development and use of planting production and monitoring systems for facility agriculture.
