Scope

GB/T 36297-2018 is the English-translated version of 光学遥感载荷性能外场测试评价指标.

GB/T 36297-2018 defines the indicators used to evaluate the performance of passive optical remote sensing payloads in field (outfield) tests.

It sets out the spatial geometric, radiometric and spectral performance evaluation indicators, with a clear definition and unit of measurement for each, and defines terms such as optical remote sensing payload, passive remote sensing, modulation degree, spatial frequency and Nyquist frequency.

It applies to field testing of passive payloads operating on airborne or spaceborne platforms in the 0.30 µm to 15 µm spectral range. An informative annex gives the Chinese and English names of the evaluation indicators.

Payload developers, satellite application centres and remote sensing data users use it so that performance figures can be compared across fields. It was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

Introduction

The observation range of the optical remote sensing load is generally between 0.30 µm and 15 µm. In this spectral range, ultraviolet and visible light are included. Light to infrared spectral information. The optical remote sensing load field test is one of the effective measures for the detection of load performance indicators, not only the number of loads. According to the premise and basis of application, it is also the technical basis and criteria for load acceptance. According to the purpose of remote sensing applications, the design of the load refers to The differences between the standards and the definitions are very big, which will inevitably lead people to misunderstand the definition of different optical load performance indicators and the understanding of the measurement unit is not the same. Therefore, the quantification of the optical load performance evaluation index cannot be achieved, which limits the sharing and propagation of load data and multi-source remote sensing. The combined use of data.

This standard addresses the most widely used passive optical remote sensing payloads currently used in various disciplines and industries, through the deep testing of load performance. Into the analysis, select passive optical remote sensing loadability that is directly related to remote sensing data or product quality and can be evaluated by field test Can evaluate the indicators, give a clear definition of these evaluation indicators and corresponding dimensions, and then to ensure the performance of passive optical remote sensing load performance evaluation Indicators can share the same set of reference standards in different research and application fields, providing technical parameters for the development of new optical remote sensing loads in the future. Examine and provide relevant data source quality and performance assurance for the production and application of subsequent remote sensing products.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the spatial geometric performance, radiation performance, and spectral performance evaluation indicators of the passive optical remote sensing load field test. definition.

This standard is applicable to the optical sensing spectrum range of 0.30µm~15µm in the working band, and the passiveness of the aviation or aerospace platform is passive. Remote field performance testing of remote sensing loads during operation.

Note: Refer to Appendix A for the English-Chinese comparison of the names of field test evaluation indicators.

3.1 Optical remote sensing payloads

A remote sensor for measuring the reflection and radiant energy from the target's optical remote sensing band.

3.2 Passive remote sensing

Receiving remote sensing from the target itself or reflecting other radiation.

Note: Rewrite GB/T 14950-2009, definition 3.12.

3.3 Modulation degree

The spatial intensity sinusoidal ratio of the difference between the maximum and minimum values of the signal of the scene or image and the sum of the two.

3.4 Spatial frequency

Signals of the same type of scene or image have sinusoidally varying frequencies along the spatial axis.

3.5 Nyquist frequency

The lowest frequency that samples the signal without distortion, that is, the minimum sampling frequency required to completely determine a limited bandwidth signal, can be expressed as The spatial frequency corresponding to the reciprocal of the size of the double detector (corresponding to the cell).
