GB/T 36135-2018 is the English-translated version of 移动水平式生活垃圾压缩机通用技术条件.
GB/T 36135-2018 is the general technical specification for mobile horizontal municipal solid waste compactors, the movable stations in which a horizontally moving ram compresses household waste into a waste container.
It defines the direct-compaction and pre-compaction boxed types and the compression cycle time, and sets out classification and model designation, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transport and storage, and the content of the user manual.
The normative references bring in hydraulic systems and components, tolerances, welding quality, painting of construction machinery, safety signs and industrial noise emission limits.
A normative annex classifies faults and an informative annex gives a record table for the compactor tests. It applies to the design and manufacture of these compactors. It was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 April 2019.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and Marking, packaging, transportation, storage and instructions for use.
This standard applies to the design and manufacture of mobile horizontal domestic garbage compressors.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Mobile horizontal household garbage compressor
The compressor station can be moved, and the horizontally moving indenter is used to compress the garbage horizontally into the compression device of the garbage container.
3.2 Mobile horizontal direct compression boxed garbage compressor
A mobile horizontal domestic garbage compressor that pushes garbage into a garbage container with an indenter and compresses the garbage in the garbage container.
3.3 Mobile horizontal pre-compressed boxed garbage compressor
After the garbage is compressed in the compression chamber by the indenter, it is loaded into the mobile horizontal domestic garbage compressor of the garbage container.
3.4 Compression cycle time
The time required for the compression device to complete a compression cycle from startup to compression to reset.
