Scope

GB/T 36005-2018 is the English-translated version of 半导体照明设备和系统的光辐射安全测试方法.

GB/T 36005-2018 sets out how to measure and assess the optical radiation safety of semiconductor lighting equipment and systems, that is, LED lighting systems.

It covers the safety classification of these systems and the measurement and evaluation methods used to assign it, building on GB/T 20145-2006, GB/T 30117.2-2013, GB/T 34034-2017 and GB/T 34075-2017.

The classification is meant to tell users and system providers about the potential hazards of an LED lighting system under actual conditions of use, so that suitable control measures can be taken to reduce the risk.

It applies to the inspection and acceptance of systems emitting between 380 nm and 780 nm, but not to special lighting for infants and vulnerable people, medical lighting or car headlamps. It was issued on 15 March 2018 and has applied since 1 October 2018.

3.1 Lighting equipment and systems

Lighting sources (lamps), accessories, and control systems (with software) used in specific lighting applications to perform specific functions The combination.

3.2 Accessible distance

In a reasonably foreseeable situation, the human eye can reach the closest distance from the light source.

4 Security classification

4.1 Overview

The purpose of the safety classification is to inform the user or system provider about the potential hazards of the LED lighting system. Under actual use conditions (such as Exposure time or environment, these risks may lead to adverse health effects. By categorizing, it helps the user to take appropriate control Measures to reduce this risk.
