Scope
GB/T 35879-2018 is the English-translated version of 甘蔗螟虫综合防治技术规程.
GB/T 35879-2018 is the Chinese code of practice for the integrated management of sugarcane stem borers, the lepidopteran pests that damage sugarcane.
It defines the terms used to monitor them, such as the beginning, peak and end of pupation and of moth emergence, and sets out how infestations are surveyed and forecast, the principles of control and the main control measures.
It applies to integrated control of Chilo infuscatellus, Chilo sacchariphagus and Argyroploce schistaceana, and can be used as a reference for Tryporyza intacta, Sesamia inferens and Chilo auricilius.
It is intended for sugarcane growers and plant protection services. GB/T 35879-2018 was issued on 6 February 2018 and has applied since 1 September 2018.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard stipulates the terminology and definition of the comprehensive prevention and control of sugarcane borers, measurement and reporting measures, prevention and control principles, and major prevention and control technical measures.
This standard applies to the sugarcane two-pointer (ChiloinfuscatellusSnelen), bark (ChilosacchariphagusBojer), Huangqi (Argyroploceschistaceana Snelen) Integrated Control.
Sugar-cane Tryporyzaintacta Snelen, Sesamia inferens Walker, Taiwan Chiloau- The prevention of ricilius Dudgeno can be implemented by reference.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1 Sugarcane stem borers
Sugarcane borer
It is a lepidopteran pest that is damaged by sugarcane. The common species are the two-pointed cockroaches (Chiloin fuscatellus Snelen), Chilosacchariphagus Bojer, Tryporyzaintacta Snelen, Taiwan Chilo (Auricilius Dudgeno), Tetramoeraschistaceana Snelen, Noctuidae (Sesamia) inferensWalker).
2.2 Beginning period of full pupation
Aphid larvae accumulate larvae up to 20% of the time.
2.3 Final period of full pupation
Aphid larvae larvae up to 80% of the time.
2.4 Beginning period of full moth emergence
Aphid emergence rate of 20% of the period.
2.5 Moth population peak
Aphid emergence rate of 50% of the period.
2.6 Final period of full moth population
Aphid emergence rate reached 80% of the period.
2.7 Initial moth period
According to the onset period of overwintering locust infestation, the date of emergence of adult crickets combined with the temperature and development period, or the sex attractant monitoring set in the field The date of male adult worms was measured.
