This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part

1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 35605-2017 "Green Product Evaluation of Wall Materials". Compared with GB/T 35605-2017, except for the structural In addition to adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

1 Scope

GB/T 35605-2024 is the Chinese green product assessment standard for wall materials, covering the bricks, blocks, panels and boards from which buildings are walled. It matters more than most green product standards because of the scale involved: wall materials are made and consumed in hundreds of millions of tonnes, their firing and curing is energy intensive, and the substitution of fired clay brick by blocks incorporating industrial solid waste has been Chinese policy for decades, which this label is one of the instruments of. The standard sets the basic requirements a product must satisfy before assessment, covering legal compliance, pollutant discharge and energy consumption limits, and then the evaluation indicators grouped as resource attributes, including the proportion of industrial solid waste used, energy attributes, environmental attributes covering emissions and the radioactivity of the material, and quality attributes covering strength, durability, thermal performance and dimensional accuracy, each with its limit and its test or verification method, together with the evaluation method and the rules for a claim. It takes effect on 1 May 2025.

This document specifies the evaluation requirements and methods for green product evaluation of wall materials. This document applies to the green product evaluation of bricks, blocks and wall panels for industrial and civil building walls.
