Scope

GB/T 35585-2017 is the English-translated version of 炉温跟踪记录仪.

GB/T 35585-2017 fixes the product classification and basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging and storage provisions for furnace temperature tracking recorders.

Clause 1 states that it applies to the furnace temperature tracking recorders used to measure the temperature of industrial furnaces and kilns and of other equipment.

Clause 3 defines the recorder as a device that measures the temperature of an industrial furnace or kiln and has functions for storing, processing and exporting the data, and it further defines the record interval as the time between two adjacent sets of measured data put into store, the transmission interval as the time between two adjacent sets of data that a wireless recorder sends periodically to the communication receiving end, and wireless communication as the wireless transfer of the collected data to the receiver of the host computer.

Its contents list names clause 4 Product classification and basic parameters, clause 5 Requirements, clause 6 Test methods, clause 7 Inspection rules and clause 8 Marking, packaging and storage.

Clause 5 breaks the requirements down into those related to accuracy, those related to influence quantities, short-term drift, response time, safety performance, performance under transport and storage environmental conditions and other requirements, and clause 6 sets a matching test for each of them after stating the test conditions, while clause 7 separates factory inspection from type testing.

Among the documents it declares indispensable for its application are GB/T 4208 on degrees of protection of enclosures (IP code), GB 4793.1-2007 on safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use, GB/T 13639-2008 on analogue input digital indicators for industrial process measurement and control systems, and the three parts of GB/T 18271 on general methods and procedures for evaluating the performance of process measurement and control devices, whose terminology clause 3 also adopts along with that of GB/T 25479-2010.

It was proposed by the China Machinery Industry Federation and is administered by the National Technical Committee for Industrial Process Measurement, Control and Automation Standardization (SAC/TC124). The standard was issued on 29 December 2017 and has applied since 1 July 2018.
