Scope

GB/T 35506-2017 is the English-translated version of 三氟乙酸乙酯(ETFA).

GB/T 35506-2017 is the product standard for ethyl trifluoroacetate, which it abbreviates to ETFA.

Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, and the signs, packaging, transportation and storage for ethyl trifluoroacetate, and that it applies to the product obtained from a carboxylic acid or an acid chloride as raw material by esterification with an alcohol followed by purification.
